Walk for foodies and wine lovers, La Clape, AOC Languedoc, May 15th
“Gourmet walks” were created in 2003 by the Union of the AOC de La Clape, every third Sunday of May. La Clape, former island between Narbonne and the Mediterranean, is the largest classified natural site of Languedoc.
True bucolic days around the vine, wine and gastronomy of Languedoc heritage, these trips feature a pedestrian journey punctuated gourmet stops.
Summer hat, small bag with cutlery, a glass of wine tasting, notebook and pencil, the participants stroll through a friendly six kilometers walk, between vineyards and estuaries.
Gourmet stopovers in the heart of the vineyard are orchestrated by chefs from Narbonne and around, accompanied, at each stage, by the winegrowers of the appellation.
This year departure of the « Sentiers Gourmands » takes place at the Capitol Castle and over the vineyards of the Cave of Gruissan with 6 gourmet steps.
